Happy Birthday to Jennifer Naimo!

October 2nd, 2007

Jennifer Naimo

We wish Jennifer Naimo a very Happy Birthday today! Before starring as Mary Delgado (and so many other roles) in Jersey Boys, both on Broadway and at the La Jolla Playhouse, Jennifer performed in several television shows (including “Scrubs” and “Strong Medicine”); on Broadway (Les Miserables and Grease); and in many Off-Broadway, national tours, and regional theatre productions.

Jennifer will be starring in her own cabaret on Sunday, November 11 at the Laurie Beechman Theatre! Check out the the July 2006 and the September 2007 JB Blog interviews with Jen!

Have a great birthday, Jen!!

  6. Jen, I am a regular reader of your great blog and truly admire the way you keep your enthusiasm up and always live for the present. I really enjoy reading about your life with Tim and with “Jersey Boys”, as illustrated by your great stories and anecdotes on an almost daily basis.

At “Journey to Jersey Boys”, you pointed out the choices that you and Tim have made in your lives, but once those choices were made, you and he are committed to fully appreciate what you have right now. And with your show on Nov. 11, among other things, you’re still dreaming and planning for a great future ahead.

But your best quality may be your attentiveness to friends and fans without looking for a payoff. You’ve answered my correspondence, and even initiated a few e-mails to me yourself–and what can I realistically do for your career? Take a few more friends to an already sold-out show? A lot of would-be thespians should truly look up to you as a role model.

Have a wonderful birthday, Jen, and many, many more years of success and happiness.
