Happy Sixth Birthday & Congratulations to Jersey Boys Broadway!

On November 6, 2005, JERSEY BOYS opened on Broadway at the August Wilson Theatre to fantastic reviews! Today, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning Best Musical, is celebrating SIX smash years on Broadway, along with being the longest running show in the history of Broadway’s August Wilson Theatre, and is currently at #23 on the list of longest-running Broadway shows of all time!!
Congratulations & happy sixth anniversary to the JB current and former cast and crew members, the creative team, and Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons!

“Jersey Boys” has so changed my life for the better in so many ways during the past six years. Sometimes I sit back and wonder, “Did it all really happen?” Well, it did happen! It did! Happy 6th Anniversary of Jersey Boys being on Broadway…this is my all time favorite show and when I woke up this morning the first thoughts into my head were about how today is the 6th anniversary of it being on Broadway! This show has given me a lifetimes worth of memories to cherish forever! I saw Jersey Boys on Broadway in March or this year as my highschool graduation present…I saw the Saturday matinee on March 5th and went Sunday the 6th too! The important one was to see the Sat. Matinee though to be able to see Dominic Scaglione Jr. perform as Frankie on Broadway! He is my absolute favorite Frankie! I love Dominic!

I’ve shared my love for Jersey Boys many times on this blog and can only agree with the above comments. As an added bonus I have had the privilege of meeting so many wonderful fans and cast members resulting in friendships. Who knew?? Here’s hoping for another 6 years on Broadway.

Loved the 6th Anniversary show last Sunday!
So many thoughts going thru my head as I watched, once again after a bit of an absence, this fabulous show. Missing the old guys (and gals!) while totally enjoying the newbies. Paying special attention to those two longevities, Mark Lotito and Peter Gregus, and the fun they both have with their multiple roles! I LOVE you two!! Long live JERSEY BOYS!
P.S. The audience, many of whom were seeing the show for the first time were hugely receptive and raving about the show on the way out.
