Jersey Boys Among NYC’s “Hot Spots”

August 26th, 2006

New York Times’ Seth Kugel notes that getting what you want when you visit New York City can take serious planning. These days, you can reserve most of the city’s most sought-after tables, theater seats and hotel rooms just a few months in advance. You can even pack them all into one glamorous, gluttonous, glorious weekend.

The restaurants require the most tactical savvy, including a well-oiled redial button, if you want to dine at hotspots such as Per Se and Babbo. However, Broadway is easier: just order at will from Ticketmaster.com or its competitors. Good orchestra seats and excellent mezzanine locations for even the most difficult shows are available this winter if not this fall.

What about tickets to Jersey Boys? According to Kugel, favorites running this summer at or near 100 percent ticket sales, like Jersey Boys (the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons), are tough, too; for Saturday nights, it’s January for Jersey Boys.
