Jersey Boys–An Instant Classic!

And we can’t forget about the music. The Four Seasons’ parade of chart toppers have become such a part of the fabric of popular music in America that they are easily taken for granted. But when given a fresh listen in the context of such a fascinating story the songs are nothing short of stunning.The hits just keep on coming as the cast gives thrilling renditions of “Sherry,” “Walk Like a Man,” “December 1963 (Oh What a Night),” “Stay” and “Working My Way Back To You” just to name a few. I defy you not to get chills when the horn section makes its way on to the stage during “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You.”
There are only a handful of musicals I would label as “must-see” and “Jersey Boys” is right at the top of that list. Even if you only have the slightest interest in music and have never even been to the theater, this show would serve as the perfect initiation.
