Jersey Boys Breaks Box Office Record for Second Time in DC; Sizzles During Thanksgiving Week on Broadway!

Two big JERSEY BOYS box office updates!

The Washington, DC engagement of JERSEY BOYS broke the box office record at the National Theatre for the second time. For the week ending Sunday, November 29, grossing $1,287,573, the musical broke its own record set in October 2009.

During Thanksgiving week on Broadway, JERSEY BOYS was RED HOT–grossing $1,323,745 (and a 100.6% attendance rate) for the week ending 11/29/09.

The 34 shows on the boards grossed $25,312,362, climbing over 22% from the previous week’s totals.

  2. I saw Jersey Boys in DC tonight (Tuesday)…third time seeing the show. It’s such a wonderful show, and the cast is just amazing! I’ve been lucky enough to meet some of them after the shows, either when they were collecting money for Broadway Cares or outside the stage door, and not only are they incredibly talented, but they’re all so nice. Congratulations, Jersey Boys, on another record setting week in the Nation’s Capital!
