Here are the latest updates from JERSEY BOYS on Broadway:

After originating the role of Lorraine (and so many other roles) in Jersey Boys, the incredibly talented Erica Piccininni will be playing her final Jersey Boys performance today. All the best wishes to Erica and her husband in their future endeavors as they begin their new journey in California!

Swing cast member Heather Ferguson, who has been with the cast since Jersey Boys began back in the fall of 2005, will take over the role of Lorraine and the many other characters. We wish the always-amazing Heather all the best as she officially takes on her new roles and are looking forward to seeing her on stage soon! Congratulations, Heather!

Travis Cloer will be going on as Frankie Valli next Saturday night–May 10 at 8:00PM!

  1. You guys need to check out the special edition of “The Strip” podcast featuring video from last night’s party. The link to the video and some great photos are on Steve Freiss’ blog, VegasHappensHere.Com.

  2. Glad to hear about Travis going on as Frankie! Keep us posted if there are more upcoming dates when he’ll be on, since… good luck trying to get tickets for this Saturday night.

All the best to Erica and her husband as they head to California. So glad she was on the August Wilson stage as long as she was.

(Dan, I checked out the Vegas site which did have some interesting tidbits. Had trouble with the videos, though. The comment might be better placed under a Vegas article.)

  3. I will miss Erica. She played the tortured Lorraine with just the right sophistication and frustration. And besides having the voice of an angel, she is a talented violinist! Last fall, I was outside the August Wilson juggling the camera of another JB fan taking a picture of Christian and two ladies. Erica stopped and asked if she could help out. So sweet at “Journey to the Jersey Boys”, I wish her all the best. Heather, congratulations to you. Again, so kind at the J2JB show, and an amazing singer. I look forward to seeing you onstage front and center! And Travis, I anxiously await your portrayal of Frankie. Oddly enough, I spoke of you several times today, as a friend of mine sang “The Prayer” at church this morning. Your duet with Jennifer at your cabaret was amazing! Sure wish you would put that on your website!
