Jersey Boys Natl Tour Shines at State College!

November 5th, 2015

The JERSEY BOYS national tour is playing at the Eisenhower Auditorium in State College, Pennsylvania through Sunday 11/8 & reviewers agree that it is a winner! Below are two snapshots of reviews:

The Daily Collegian: The family of the Four Seasons dissolves as well. Tommy is exiled to Las Vegas and Nick quits because of his ego. Sitting at the counter of a diner, Frankie muses to Bob, “Everybody leaves. Why does everybody leave?”

The musical doesn’t end despairingly, though.

“Jersey Boys” turns the larger than life story of the Four Seasons into a larger than life production. Drawing from actual events, “Jersey Boys” is able to evoke the personal dramas that come with fame while showcasing the fantastical heights musicals can achieve.

Centre Daily Times: Audiences will rejoice at the performance of The Four Seasons’ classics. Since the musical is based on the group members’ lives and songs, there is a chronology to the show…From its iconic music to its very human perspective, “Jersey Boys” will have its audience members remarking, “oh, what a night.”
