For the first time ever, this annual event will take place at Central Park’s Great Lawn on Monday, June 26th at 8:00pm. A fireworks finale will follow the performance.

In addition to the Jersey Boys cast, those taking the stage at the 2006 “Broadway Under the Stars” will include Michael Cerveris (Sweeney Todd, Assassins), John Cullum (Urinetown, On the Twentieth Century), Christine Ebersole (Grey Gardens, 42nd Street), Sutton Foster (The Drowsy Chaperone, Little Women), Shuler Hensley (Tarzan, Oklahoma!), Jane Krakowski (Nine, Grand Hotel), Bebe Neuwirth (Chicago, Sweet Charity), in addition to others.

This year, “Broadway Under the Stars” will be directed by Tony-nominated director and choreographer Jeff Calhoun (Annie Get Your Gun, Big River, Grease!). The choreographer is Chase Brock (Shenandoah, Ford’s Theatre, Washington, D.C.). Music Director Phil Reno (The Drowsy Chaperone, The Producers) will once again lead the live orchestra.
