Jersey Boys to Arrive in New Zealand in April 2012!

Jersey Boys LogoNEWSFLASH from Stuff.co.nz: Jersey Boys, one of the world’s biggest theatre sensations, is coming to Auckland in 2012, it has been confirmed.

This morning Auckland Mayor Len Brown announced Jersey Boys, the Tony Award-winning musical based on the story of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons, will hit Auckland’s Civic Theatre in April next year.

It will run for a season of almost 11 weeks, with audience numbers of around 200,000 expected to attend.

The musical has broken attendance records and has been in Australia for the past two years performing to sell out audiences, with more than 900,000 people seeing it.

Worldwide, the show has been seen by around 12.5 million people and there are five productions being staged in Broadway, Las Vegas, a US national tour, London and Sydney.

  1. Saw them 3 times in Sydney, would give my eye teeth to do it again in N.Z!! They were the best!!
