  2. Sometimes I think we don’t focus on the “Jersey Girls” as much as we should, although Jennifer does keep us up-to-date with her fine blog. Hopefully, the show on August 13 will remedy that.

Travis, you and I met at the Actor’s Fund Benefit in April, and I wouldn’t have believed someone so gracious and humble could have such a powerful voice and evoke such emotion in the Gyp basement scene–until I saw you as Frankie, of course. Looking forward to seeing you in a different venue.

  7. I wish it was a long running show. I truly miss living in NY, especially with Jersey Boys going on strong there.

It seems like yesterday when the original Cats and A Chorus Line opened on Broadway, and Studio 54 was declining but still in business…..

Hopefully I’ll have the opportunity to go back to my old haunts in New Jersey, NY and on Long Island very soon. That way, I’ll be able to visit the theatre district again and meet up with more of the East Coast JB Blog Fantastic Fans!

  13. I’ll be at the show as well. I’m a big JB fan having seen the show 13 times now (I’m up to 7 Frankies and counting!) There are so many wonderful people associated with this show both here in NYC and the touring cast. This is truly a fun ride for everyone!

  14. Unfortunately, I may miss this because of a conflict with a work function. Except for Jennifer, I’ve never had a chance to meet the Jersey Girls; whenever I’m at the stage door, they always seem to make a clean getaway. I’m sure the show will be wonderful.

And Erica, if you’re reading this, I bring best wishes and congratulations on your recent marriage from your Tenafly High School friend Dana Whitcomb, whose mom and dad, Laraine and Gerry (my friends), saw you perform last week, but felt the stage door crowd was a bit overwhelming for Dana’s granddad. Eventually, we will get to meet, I’m sure.
