*applauds Mike* well done, Mike. you didn't leave out any details. it was really nice seeing you and your sons again. the guys were AMAZING!!! i was SO excited when they showed up. like Mike said no one knew who was going to come. i told my sister to expect ensemble members which would've been a pleasure to meet but i also told her i had this feeling that it was going to be maybe one or two principal actors. they set up three chairs so i guessed it was going to be jarrod, drew, and jeremy. i thought steve had already left. then they filed in and i grabbed my sister's attention saying, "Look it's Jarrod... oh, and Drew! oh my gosh, it's Steve... and Jeremy!!!" i nearly passed out! i seriously could NOT believe it was all four of them right there in front of us. They all passed right by Mike and I. i'll be honest I went picture CRAZY which the guys noticed *blushes* but they were so cool about it and were really good sports about their picture being taken over a hundred times. i can't thank Steve enough for the extra picture!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi everyone..... The Macy's San Francisco Jersey Boys Meet & Greet was better than expected! Everyone did not know who was showing up due to possible PM rehearsals at the Curran and an evening performance, so everyone got their memorabilia and cameras ready, then counted down the minutes until noon. We arrived at 10AM, got coffee and checked out the store, which is lots smaller than Macy's NY in Manhattan, but just as nice.

At 11AM, we stood in line with about five other fans, of which we recognized two from the past SF appearances. They set a table and sound system up in front of their main escalator bank for the Jersey Boys. By 11:45, the line swelled to over 150 fans and beyond. 10 minutes later, we were treated to the sight of their publicist leading..... drum roll please..... Jarrod Spector, Jeremy Kushnier, Andrew Gehling and Steve Gouveia through the store towards us!!!!! All "Four Seasons!!!!! They all had the same type of red "Jersey Boys" shirts as worn during the SF Pride Parade and wore stickers advertising the upcoming AIDS Walk SF. They all greeted us as they walked towards the signing area, especially Steve, who is probably used to so many public appearances since the early days in LaJolla.

The Macy's staff passed CD samplers of the OBC cast to us for them to sign, and as we got to the table, the Jersey Boys recognized my two sons and I from frequenting the stage door after the many shows we've attended.

1st was Jeremy Kushnier (Tommy), who we thanked for leading SF's AIDS Walk team, and invited us to meet them at the walk on July 15th. 2nd was Jarrod Spector (Frankie), who we thanked for the many memorable performances that entertained us, but we were honored when he thanked us for the many shows we've watched to support the various casts. 3rd up was Andrew Gehling (Bob), who is just as humble as we remember from the stage door, but was soaking all of the adoration and recognizing their fans in a very friendly way. Last up was Steve Gouveia (Nick), who is Mr. Cool, Calm and Collected, and such a friendly celebrity, which is a rarity when tons of other stars tend to keep private and distance themselves from fans. I mentioned we'll miss him in SF, were honored to have someone from the original LaJolla/B'Way cast perform here at the Curran and he graciously thanked us for our support. They all are class acts and ultimate professionals!

We hung out for a while longer, soaking in the atmosphere, taking photos (will definitely share with the JBB) and knowing that we're fortunate to have a Tony Winning play here in San Francisco. Thanks to the Jersey Boys for their appearance at Macy's SF!

Anyone know who will be showing up? Just curious..... Also, Macy's ad in the Sunday Chronicle mentioned that you can't bring your own "stuff" to sign. They probably just mean items not licensed or sold by the Jersey Boys.
