Photo Flashback: The Four Seasons in Red Suits in the Early ’60s!

4 Season Bermuda

Today’s Photo Flashback is a total mystery to me! We found it on the White DooWop Collector blog–but no details were given. Was this an album cover for The Barrons with The 4 Seasons as special guests with their first single, “Bermuda”? Hope someone knows the real scoop behind this! Do any of you guys have this item in your own collections of Seasons’ memorabilia?

On a fashion note, how about those dashing red suits the guys are wearing?!

  1. Yes Susie it is an album cover. I picked it up for 98 cents back around 1967. I don’t know The Barrons and can’t tell you anything else about the album. I bought it because at that time I didn’t have the Bermuda/Spanish Lace single. Whatever sales there were of the album it was obvioulsy because of the 4 Seasons on the cover. Some others may be able to offer more information.

  2. I think Gaudio’s resemblance looks the best. Frankie, Nick and Tom need enhancement.

  3. This was one of the many “budget LPs” that surfaced after the Seasons hit it big with Vee Jay. Bermuda and Spanish Lace appeared on these LPs. Other artists like Johnny Rivers, Neil Sedaka, and Paul Simon also appeared on these, with some of their early non-hits featured.
