The Four Lovers on The Ed Sullivan Show, 1956

Look how cool The Four Lovers were back on The Ed Sullivan Show in 1956! Tommy DeVito, Nick DeVito, Hank Majewski, and Frankie Valli received their big break when they appeared on Sullivan’s TV show to sing their single, “You’re The Apple of My Eye”!

  1. I have often thought, Frankie Valli will never know what he did to save my marriage and a lot of pain for my family.
Well, why not!!!! He should know.
I remember the dark day when the marriage seemed impossible. I couldn’t go on. Then, “lets hang on” hit my radio. I have always loved his Music and can’t stop being lifted up by it. That day and that song turned me around and Frankie’s music continued to turn me around from a darker path many times during my 42 year marriage.

thanks Frankie! When you get to heaven you will know all the good you did and in a special way why you were put on this earth – not that you don’t know it because I am sure you do!!!
