Upcoming Jersey Boys Ticket Giveaway on CBS 5 in Phoenix!
August 9th, 2007CBS 5 is offering morning news viewers a chance to win tickets to see and meet the “Jersey Boys” at ASU’s Gammage Auditorium!
Tune in to CBS 5 Morning News between 4:30 and 7 a.m. Monday, Aug. 13 through Friday, Aug. 17 for instructions on when to call in. Be the fifth caller and you’ll qualify for the Grand Prize drawing on Friday, Aug. 17.
Grand Prize winners will receive four premium tickets to see “Jersey Boys” and attend a Meet & Greet
Wow, and a special thanks to Steve Hammel, the general manager of CBS 5 and my friend of the last 26 years (since we both worked for an ABC-TV affiliate) for his support of “Jersey Boys”. A regular reader of the Jersey Boys Blog, Steve always listened eagerly to my JB stories and tried to get tickets each time he visited New York, until he and his lovely wife Renee were successful in March of 2007. I believe it was at intermission that Steve e-mailed me that the show (particulary Christian’s performance) far exceeded his and Renee’s highest expectations. Hopefully, the winners will get to “meet and greet” Steve as well as the great JB thespians. And Steve, I look forward to my third visit to CBS 5 on my next trip west….thanks again.
