Video Preview: Jersey Boys National Tour’s Barry Anderson’s Songbook Album Debut: ‘You Are Home: The Songs of Anderson & Petty’!
January 12th, 2014We are thrilled to share the news & the video! Barry Anderson, JERSEY BOYS national tour’s “Bob Crewe,” and Mark Petty, the transatlantic songwriting duo known as Anderson & Petty, released their debut songbook album entitled “You Are Home: The Songs of Anderson & Petty” last month! Anderson & Petty co-produced the album with Dennis Michael Keefe of the record label Great White Wax. The album is be available digitally worldwide via Amazon and iTunes and as a physical release via Amazon.com.
“You Are Home” is a 16-song journey reflecting varying sounds and genres, including musical theatre, pop, country, folk-rock, and gospel. What’s also exciting is that this recording includes many current and former JERSEY BOYS cast members are featured on the album, including solos from Jason Kappus (current Bob Gaudio on Tour 2), Natalie Gallo (former Mary Delgado on Tour 2 and Broadway), Brent Michael DiRoma (former Hank Majewski on Tour 2), and Josh Franklin (former Bob Gaudio on Tour 1) Also lending their talents are eight other JB actors from tour singing backing vocals as well as several band members from the tour.
In March, Anderson and Petty will be presenting songs from ‘You Are Home’ as well as new material from upcoming projects in concert at the St. James’ Studio in London. A New York City concert is being planned for August.
