The 2009 Las Vegas Review-Journal’s 28th Annual “Best of Las Vegas” poll results were announced today and the reporters have spoken! JERSEY BOYS Vegas and Rick Faugno are among the reporters’ picks as the best in town!

BEST SHOW: JERSEY BOYS, Palazzo
Who loves you pretty mama? Count us among the fans of the Garden State bad boys. Casino producers had just about determined that Broadway wouldn’t work here when the musical biography of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons turned out to have the right sensibility for the town.

BEST SINGER: RICK FAUGNO, JERSEY BOYS, Palazzo
We figure it’s hard for anyone but Frankie Valli to sound like Frankie Valli every night. And face it, Faugno sings better than Frankie Valli these days as the star of “Jersey Boys” at the Palazzo. It doesn’t hurt that he grounds the famous pop falsettos with a bottled-up intensity when he plays the star who never seems quite able to rest his weary head.

Congratulations to JERSEY BOYS Vegas and Rick Faugno!
