A Salute to the Late Jazz Great James Moody

December 19th, 2010

James Moody (March 26, 1925 – December 9th 2010): Earlier this month, James Moody, an institution in jazz from the late ’40s into the 21st century, passed away. Mr. Moody, who was born in Savanah, Georgia and was raised in Newark, New Jersey, was the great jazz saxophonist and flautist best known for his recorded performance of “Moody’s Mood for Love.”

To salute Mr. Moody, we have created a photo montage/video clip with the JERSEY BOYS Original Cast Recording’s version of “Moody’s Mood for Love.”

To find out more about this legendary performer and to watch his video performances, visit JamesMoody.com.
