  1. Jessica and I really enjoyed the evening, Bobby, especially your rousing performance of “Army”. The show was very fast paced, which was great–no unnecessary banter between the songs–congrats to your director. Also very much enjoyed the performances of Manoel Felciano, Lisa Howard, Will Chase, Allan Campbell, Annie Golden, the beautiful efforts of Liz McCartney, and many others.

You and all the stars were very generous with your time at the reception too. Only problem is that by time you and I finished chatting, all the best h’or doevres were gone. But a big positive is that the Zipper was one of the rare places in NYC where the bartenders did have peripheral vision.

It was wonderful to finally hear you solo, and not just be limited to “Silly Boy”, “Silly Girl”, and “He Said”….And thanks for the recognition from the stage.

Liked chatting at length w/Lisa Howard of “Spelling Bee” too, a show I’ve seen and enjoyed twice.
