Brickman & Elice’s New Musical Project
May 17th, 2006Playbill.com’s Ernio Hernandez reports that the Tony Award-nominated book writing team from Broadway’s Jersey Boys, Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, are not wasting any time getting to work on their next musical collaboration.
Brickman told Playbill.com that he and co-writer Elice have a new book ready to go with Tommy Tune directing called Turn of the Century. Although Brickman declined to detail the plot of the show, he noted that it is a period piece with a wonderful new composing team. Work is expected to begin before the end of the year.
