BroadwayWorld.com has extensive photo coverage of the celebration honoring Christian Hoff, who set a Guinness World Record for his work on the audiobook “Tell Me How You Love The Picture,” a Hollywood memoir written by Academy Award-nominee Edward S. Feldman. Along with Christian and his wife Melissa and their baby Elizabeth, Jersey Boys cast members were also having a great time at Victor’s Cafe on Sunday evening!

  1. Great pictures! Especially enjoyed the Hoff family and the cast photos. Thanks for the coverage of all things Jersey Boys…it helps keeps long distance fans like me connected until my next trip to New York!

  2. Christian, I’ve heard the book twice now. I first was looking only to hear your world-record 241 voices, which are amazing, but I was treated to a wonderful story as well. (Almost similar to when I went into JB just looking for a “4 Seasons Concert”, and enjoyed a wonderfully written play as well.)

The book took me through the last half-century, concentrating as much on Bette Davis (my mom’s idol) as on Harrison Ford, Eddie Murphy, and Glenn Close. The stories were thrilling, so much so that I sat in my car in 10 degree weather (OK–it had heat) so that I could hear an entire CD.

And I also finally learned exactly what a producer does–and one thing is that he/she doesn’t put his/her own money into a production! Funny, all these years, I’ve thought the producer was putting his/her monies at risk along with mine!!

Great job, Christian and Ed. Worth every penny.
