Composer Sues Over Use of ‘C’mon Marianne’

NY1.com reports that a composer for Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons is suing EMI Publishing over the use of the tune “C’mon Marianne” in the Broadway musical Jersey Boys. Russell Brown and the daughter of his late partner, Raymond Bloodworth, are seeking $100,000 from EMI for not receiving royalties from the Tony award-winning show for use of the song.
