Don Chareunsy has a great story on the VegasDeLuxe blog about Deven May, Vegas JERSEY BOYS’ Tommy DeVito, who celebrated his 40th birthday at Wolfgang Puck’s CUT at the Palazzo last Sunday, with friends from the casts of Peepshow at Planet Hollywood, Phantom — the Las Vegas Spectacular at the Venetian and his hit musical at the Palazzo.
May’s girlfriend, actress, model and party planner extraordinaire Shawna Laing, organized the surprise soiree with the help of CUT General Manager Gianni Toffanello. About 30 people with noisemakers greeted May with applause, and a Playboy Bunny serenaded him with a birthday song.
Guests included Jersey Boys castmates Travis Cloer, Jeff Leibow, Rick Faugno, Peter Saide, Merissa Haddad, Nikka Wahl, Mackenzie Bill and Sarah Lowe and Phantom star Kristi Holden. May’s birthday celebration also included a camping trip this week.

First time to the USA, in May 2011, came to Vegas to see Jersey Boys. Deven May played Tommy De Vito, Oh My Gosh!!!! his performance was overpowering, was anyone else on the stage?. Im back in Australia now and taking my best friend to see the show in Sydney, BUT ! there will only ever be one actor playing Tommy for me and that is DEVEN MAY.

Happy belated birthday from our whole family! We first saw you in LA quite a few times then we followed you to Seattle. Then when the producers finally saw the light and you were put where you always belonged back in your starring role in Vegas! We started following you as Batboy in New York! Hana is our daughter and she sends her best wished too! Continued success and we wil come to Vegas soon to see you and the show.
