Former Jersey Boys Las Vegas Cast Member Colin Trahan Makes His TV Debut on ‘General Hospital’ This Week!

It was great to catch up recently with former JERSEY BOYS Las Vegas swing cast member Colin Trahan, who shared some exciting news with Jersey Boys Blog!
JBB: Hey, Colin, Congratulations are in order! Tell us about your television debut on ‘General Hospital’!
Colin Trahan: Thank you! Well, I’ll be playing ‘Cole,’ a ‘henchman,’ as he was called in the script. I’ll be opposite ‘Johnny Zacchara,’ played by Brandon Barash. So far, I’ve filmed two episodes and they are scheduled to air this Thursday and Friday. I’m so excited! My first lines on TV (not very many of them at all)! It was crazy fun to do.
JBB: This is such exciting news! Can’t wait to see you later this week! So, besides your big ‘General Hospital’ news, what all has been happening since you left JB in Vegas and headed to LA?
CT: I left Jersey Boys in January and have been working for Jersey Boys ever since. Ha! Traveling to do ‘events’ in Berlin, Morocco, and Bentonville, Arkansas at the Walmart Shareholders Convention that also had Will Smith and Black Eyed Peas. Recently, I went out to the tour in Columbus Ohio, to help with ‘coverage’ during a ‘transition.’ I’m currently scheduled to do some press in Portland.
Like Al Pacino in Godfather III: ‘Just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in.’ I LOVE JERSEY BOYS!
In LA, a lot of my focus has been on Improvisational Comedy, something I did a lot of in Vegas with Sarah Lowe, the swing there, and Matt Donnelly, her husband. I have a group named Where’s Molly? that performs Thursday nights at The Improv Space in Westwood and the first Saturday of every month with Alison Royer’s Date Night at MI’s Westside Comedy in Santa Monica. And, I have another group named Way to Go, Pablo! that has performed at MI’s and is currently looking for more venues.
JBB: Colin, I have a feeling you’ll be seeing quite a few of your fans at your shows in LA–soon!!
