On their Boots Are Made for Stalking blog, the Boots Girls had the complete privilege to meet pop icon Frankie Valli, along with the Chicago Jersey Boys (Bryan McElroy, Shonn Wiley, Dominic Scaglione Jr., and Michael Ingersoll Frankie’s Italian on Saturday.

Check out what the Boots Girls said about their big day with the timeless rocker:

First of all, the legend, who we were told is 75, looked AMAZING! Doesn’t look a day older than 50. He said he’s staying busy on tour and still making new music. He’s like the energizer bunny, he keeps going and going…

Valli told us there are seven companies performing the show, so we asked if there’s any actor who plays him who he’s connected with or liked the best.
“That would be like picking one of my children as a favorite!” Valli said. He did say that each person who reprises him on stage adds something special to the part.
Valli claims the Jersey Boys show is a pretty accurate portrayal of his life with The Four Seasons.

We thought that was interesting because he’s portrayed as the “good guy” in the show and we wondered if he is in real life. (Come on, all rockers have to have some skeletons in their closet!)

Valli told us: “You’d have to get to know me!”

That’s when we invited him to our late-night twist par-tay. He laughed. Yo Frankie, we were serious!

  1. That smile is worth a million dollars, keep on giving us the performance of a true showmanship….
It doesn’t get any better than this,on how family, friends, and especially the fans (more mature and NEW!)want to keep seeing and mostly listening to the sound of this great music of The 4 Seasons/Jersey Boys.
They do have great taste, with the hard work and the
“LOVE” on what you do best,thank-you for singing so beautifully and giving us that voice which is one of a kind. My dad would say “PERFECION” and Nick Massi is right all the way….

    God Bless you always

  2. Gotta tell ya – I made Frankie a special birth day card and gave it to him. Whether he looked at it or not I’ll never know. I was hoping to update a picture with him and my husband but that never happened. Despite that fact, it was a Frankie Valli day for my husband and me. We had lunch at Frankie’s inside the dining room – not outside where Frankie Valli was – as we were misinformed by the restaurant that he would be visiting tables – Never Happened! They whisked him off, and after lunch went to see the JB for the 10th time and then Frankie’s concert at night. All in all it was a great day. Realizing he is a very private person, I backed off and hoped that someday soon, we wuld get another picture with him eventually. I even sent him an e-mail (which I don’t know if he reads or not) asking him to accommodate us prior to the luncheon.

Anyway, FRANKIE VALLLI STILL ROCKS! We look forward to more great performances.
