Happy Birthday to Des McAnuff!
June 19th, 2007Wow! It’s a big day for birthdays in the Jersey Boys family!
Along with Tommy DeVito, Des McAnuff is celebrating his 55th birthday today!
In addition to directing the 2006 Best Musical Tony Award winner, Jersey Boys, Des has won Tonys for directing Broadway musicals Big River and The Who’s Tommy. He has also produced Tony award-winning revivals of Broadway classics like Guys and Dolls, The Music Man, Into the Woods, 42nd Street, The King and I, and many others.

Hope you had a wonderful birthday, Des. And thank you for your tireless time on Jersey Boys. You have given so many of us great pleasure and happiness…it’s something that is undescribable. Thank you, thank you for taking this project on.
