Jarrod Spector Is Jersey Boys Broadway’s Next Frankie Valli!
September 16th, 2008Philadelphia Inquirer Columnist Michael Klein reports on a big Broadway announcement today: Meadowbrook’s Jarrod Spector will be promoted to the Frankie Valli role in the Tony-winning musical Jersey Boys at the August Wilson Theatre. He’ll debut Sept. 30.
Spector, 27, is a Germantown Academy grad who went on to Princeton – where he told Klein in a chat last year that he realized “a degree in economics wasn’t going to give me the things in life I wanted.”
Congratulations to Jarrod!
Congrats to a Philly/Jersey boy. See you in December.

Congratulations to Jarrod — I’ve seen him perform this role about 8-9 times in San Francisco and Chicago. He is fantastic! I’ll miss him the last few months in Chicago — but it may just get heading to Broadway.

How sad for Chicago! Jarrod really portrayed Frankie Valli to a tee (next to JLY). It’s a great loss for Chicago but a great asset for NYC. It will be hard to fill his shoes, but we wish him all the best – and maybe, just maybe we’ll see him back here in Chicago.

Chicago’s loss is Broadway’s gain! We’ll miss you. It won’t be the same without you. You’re our favorite Frankie……..Lin J.
