Jeff Leibow, Nick Massi in the Las Vegas production of JERSEY BOYS, is producing the “NF Hope Concert” at the Las Vegas Hilton. Proceeds from the concert will be donated to NF, Inc., an organization that serves families and individuals with neurofibromatosis, which is more commonly known as NF. The “NF Hope Concert” will be hosted by Improv Comedy veteran Matt Donnelly and KTNV Channel 13 anchor Lisa Remillard. The star-studded concert will feature performances by Gordie Brown, Rich Little, cast members from “Jersey Boys” (Travis Cloer, Rick Faugno, Jeff Leibow, Deven May & Peter Saide), “Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular,” and “The Lion King,” “American Idol” contestant Dezmond Meeks, Human Nature and Santa Fe. A silent auction will also take place that includes bidding for tickets to Celine Dion, Donny and Marie, Terry Fator, “Phantom – The Las Vegas Spectacular,” “The Lion King,” and “Jersey Boys” as well as show memorabilia, restaurant certificates, spa certificates and more.

The concert, which will be held on Sunday, June 12 at 1:30 PM at the Hilton Showroom, will benefit the charity NF, Inc. (http://www.nfnetwork.org), an organization that supports families of individuals with a neurological disorder called, neurofibromatosis. NF, as it is referred to, is a genetic disorder that results in an ineffective tumor suppressor gene. This allows tumors, called neurofibromas, to grow on any nerve in the body at any time without warning. NF is one of the most common genetic disorders (one in every 2,500 to 3,000 births) yet it has no federal funding and very few people know what it is. This is true despite the fact that it affects more than 100,000 Americans (making it more prevalent than Cystic Fibrosis, hereditary Muscular Dystrophy, Huntington’s Disease and Tay Sachs combined).

When asked about this upcoming benefit concert and why it is so special to Jeff, he stated, “Unfortunately, my daughter, Emma, was diagnosed with NF when she was nine months old, and being that there is no known cure, producing this benefit is the one way I can feel a sense of control over it.”
