Jersey Boys Australia Earns TEN Helpmann Awards Nominations!

News from JERSEY BOYS: JERSEY BOYS Australia has earned TEN Helpmann Awards nominations! The Helpman Awards are Australia’s highest honor for live entertainment. The nominations include:

  • BEST MUSICAL
  • BEST DIRECTION OF A MUSICAL Des McAnuff
  • BEST CHOREOGRAPHY IN A MUSICAL Sergio Trujillo
  • BEST MALE ACTOR IN A MUSICAL Bobby Fox
  • BEST MALE ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE IN A MUSICAL Scott Johnson
  • BEST FEMALE ACTOR IN A SUPPORTING ROLE IN A MUSICAL Lisa Adam
  • BEST MUSIC DIRECTION Ron Melrose & Luke Hunter
  • BEST SCENIC DESIGN Klara Zieglerova & Michael Clark
  • BEST LIGHTING DESIGN Howell Binkley
  • BEST SOUND DESIGN Steve Canyon Kennedy

On hearing of the nominations the Producers were elated and Rodney Rigby stated, “Being nominated as Best Musical is a wonderful acknowledgment by our peers across the industry how special Jersey Boys is to audiences and everyone associated with the production.”
