Jersey Boys Blog Milestone and New Widget Launch
February 11th, 2009Jersey Boys Blog has reached a new milestone. Two really, if you count the launch of the new Jersey Boys Widget. But I’m getting ahead of myself. Let me start at the beginning. Over the weekend, The Blog reached 3,000,000 page views. Those pages were viewed by over 1,000,000 unique visitors that have read 3,381 posts since Jersey Boys Blog started. Its almost like filling the August Wilson Theatre daily, but easier to get to the bathroom.
To celebrate our milestone and to thank our readers, I have created a widget for users of social networks to add a little bit of the blog and Jersey Boys to their pages. We are proud and happy to release the Jersey Boys Widget for your use and enjoyment. Below you will find a copy of the widget as it would appear on your MySpace, Facebook, or Blogger pages, as well as many other networks and start pages. It includes photos, news from Jersey Boys Blog, music clips from the cast album, a video from the Tonys, and links to The Blog and the Official Jersey Boys web site.
In the bottom right corner of the widget there is a button named Share. Click the button and a window will open with options for you to embed the code for the widget in your pages or email a link to your friends. You will probably want to do both. 
The “Blog Half” has added the Jersey Boys Widget to her Facebook Profile and I am going to create an account and do the same. If you have any questions or comments post them in the Comments section and I will reply to them here. Otherwise, look for me on Facebook soon or on Twitter.

Any cast member that wants their picture in the widget can send us their photo. We could even build them their own widget. Everyone needs a widget, but they will have to get up before noon.
