Jersey Boys Blog Update from New York!
August 5th, 2007Sorry there have been a lack of JB Blog posts and updates in the past few days. There’s a good excuse: We’re in New York celebrating the Tech-Half’s birthday–wooping it up, hanging out with friends (who are of course fellow Jersey Boys fans); interviewing incredible cast members (a few more today!); and of course, seeing the greatest show on earth last night!

It’s crazy but true that two or three days, without new posts, seem like a long time. We have been sooo spoiled when it comes to the frequency and abundance of Jersey Boys news and features on your Blog. The only delays I have ever witnessed is when you are actually out in the field gathering more news and interviews first-hand.
It was great getting to see you both (at last, meeting Dale); thanks for taking the time to meet up with fans & friends while you were here in Jersey territory soaking up the sights and sounds of the city and enjoying a birthday celebration get-away! Hope to see you again real soon.

A very Happy Birthday Dale! What a special celebration! In New York too – the city that never sleeps – wonder if you guys partied all night long.
Your tech abilities are awesome Dale – the JBB site is chock full of links, photo uploads, videos & sureys. And, the layout is fabulous. Easy to read and easy on the eyes. Very well-thought out.

Might be a naive question, but is Frankie Vallie in the cast at August Wilson Theatre? We are going to buy tickets for the Sept 20th performance

Hi Tim,
No, Frankie Valli is not in the cast–but the guys who play the Four Seasons in the show are magnificent!

Tim- Here the link to theOpening Night video- probably the only time that Frankie has been on stage at August Wilson. It is a great video that also has a brief conversation with Frankie. You’ll get a glimpse of the marvelous cast on stage. Enjoy the show!

Thanks to your question, I just watched the video one more time (probably up to #500 by now). Frankie is in the final bow at the curtain call in the last seconds of the video. Many of us would probably want to answer your question by saying- Yes, Frankie IS on the stage in the form of John Lloyd Young!
