Jersey Boys Breaks Box Office Record for Third Time in Nation’s Capital; Continues to Rock on Broadway!

For the THIRD time, the Washington, DC engagement of JERSEY BOYS broke the box office record at the National Theatre! For the week ending Sunday, December 6, 2009, the musical grossed $1,289,023.00, breaking its own record set in November 2009.

For the first week in December, JERSEY BOYS Broadway continued to ROCK! The Tony winner grossed $1,226,872 and had a 101% attendance rate for the week ending 12/6/09.

The 34 shows on the boards grossed $22,980,760, dropping 10% from the previous big Thanksgiving week’s totals.

  1. I’ve seen 5 Jersey Boys shows in DC, so I guess I’ve played a role in setting those box office records at the National Theatre! :)
