Jersey Boys Captivates Cape Town; Extends Run Through 8/04/13!

July 1st, 2013

Exciting news from the JERSEY BOYS South Africa Facebook page: Owing to overwhelming public demand Showtime Management, the South African producers of Jersey Boys, the sensational Broadway hit musical today announced a two-week extension of its Cape Town season. The show must close on Sunday, 8/4/13!

Check out excerpts from rave reviews all over Cape Town:
Cape Town Travel Blog: Jersey Boys is a slick production, clearly a product of the leadership given by two-time Tony Award-winner and Jersey Boys Broadway director Des McAnuff. From the time-specific costumes by Jess Goldstein to the spectacular set design by Klara Zieglerova, which switches from magically-appearing street lamps and a recording studio to hotel rooms and jazz lounges, the attention to detail in bringing the group’s captivating rags-to-riches tale to life is amazing. But it’s the four male leads who are the real stars of the show.

Lauren Vogt, WhatsoninCapeTown.com: The energy of Jersey Boys starts high and gets only higher, with hit after masterful hit rolling off the stage…

Eugene Yiga, BizCommunity.com: So do yourself a favour and don’t be the guy who was silly enough to miss the biggest show of the year. Jersey Boys is not just too good to be true; it’s even better. Kapeesh?
