Jersey Boys Is Awesome in Austin!

March 28th, 2015

JERSEY BOYS national tour plays Austin at the Bass Concert Hall through tomorrow. Check out snapshots of the rave reviews:

BroadwayWorld.com: This touring production was directed by Des McAnuff, who directed the Broadway production. Not having seen the original production, I can’t imagine it being any more sharp, powerful and tight than the touring production. Everything about this show is top notch: from Sergio Trujilo’s choreography and Michael Clark’s projection design, all the way down to Klara Zieglerova’s ever changing, yet static set, everything combines to deliver an electrifying and entertaining evening.

Rebekkah Adams, AskMissa.com: Some of the highlights include crowd pleaser “December, 1963 (Oh, What a Night)” and “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” which brought the house down both in the play and in real life. By the end, we see a holistic view of a flawed group, celebrating their triumphs and feeling their tragedies with them.
