Jersey Boys National Tour Dazzles Audience!

The moment actor Deven May steps onto the stage of the Curran Theater in the national tour of Jersey Boys — expertly cast as Tommy DeVito, founder and guitarist of doo-wop darlings The Four Seasons — sparks start to fly. “I don’t want to be ubiquitous, but we put New Jersey on the map,” he says, his voice thick with the drawl that only comes from the Garden State.

And if opening night is any indicator of how the touring production of Jersey Boys, the smash hit Broadway musical that snatched up the 2006 Tony Award for Best Musical, will be received elsewhere — well, the bar has been officially raised. The show wooed, wowed, and serenaded its audience with a rare blend of passion, enthusiasm, and ambition.
