JERSEY BOYS national tour plays Jackson, Mississippi at Thalia Mara Hall from 1/5/16 through 1/10/16. Check out a preview of Drew Seeley’s recent interview with Clarion-Ledger:
“It’s the perfect storm of great music people know and an almost unbelievable story that people don’t know,” Seeley said recently by phone from Los Angeles, where he was on holiday break.
“They come for the music, and it’s very pop, it’s very happy. And then they actually learn the true story of what these guys went through, from gambling debts to mob ties, broken marriages. They somehow weathered all of these things and still are a relevant group.
“When people see that whole story, they’re really invested and then the music is just the icing on the top.”
