Jersey Boys Natl Tour Plays Schenectady Tonight through Sunday; Check Out Great Interview with @NicolasDromard in TroyRecord.com
January 13th, 2015The JERSEY BOYS national tour plays Schenectady at Proctors Theatre tonight through Sunday, January 18. Bob Goepfert of TroyRecord.com has a wonderful preview of the show with JB national tour’s “Tommy DeVito,” Nicolas Dromard. Check out a sneak peek below:
This is a play with rock music. The story is equally as important as is the music,” he said. “Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice wrote a bullet-proof script. The music is entertaining but it adds to the story that tells how the guys got together, became a success and eventually broke up.”
He describes “Jersey Boys” as “a musical husbands want to take their wives to see.”
“It’s about four street-smart guys from the streets of New Jersey, who become pop stars. It involves the mob and behind the scenes action,” he continued. “The wives come and love the music that is sung by four good looking guys? What’s not to like?”
