Jersey Boys Shatters Box Office Record in Detroit; Shines on Broadway!

The last full week of 2009 ROCKED for JERSEY BOYS at the box office!

The Detroit engagement of JERSEY BOYS set a new box office record at the Fisher Theatre for the week ending Sunday, December 27, 2009. The show grossed $1,251,618, breaking the previous record of $1,225,511 held by Spamalot in December 2006.

On Broadway, the Tony Award-winning show had a fantastic holiday week, grossing $1,290,426 (and a 99.7% attendance rate) last week.

The 29 shows on the boards grossed $24,334,031, climbing over 19% from the previous week.
