Jersey Boys’ Vegas Home Nears Completion

September 15th, 2007

With time to kill after work Wednesday, The Tech Half set out on a photo shoot at the direction of the feisty Blog Half. The result? Some spectacular photos of the nearly completed Palazzo Casino Resort. This is not going to be the Sea Breeze Lounge, my friends. No, this is going to be a high end, 3,025 luxury suite hotel, with a 60 foot glass domed entry and two story tall fountains and plenty of towels and little bars of soap. Enough to keep even Tommy and Nicky happy.

Typical suites will average 700 square feet, but whales will be comped into one of the six 11,000 square foot villas, complete with 3-4 bedrooms, 3.5-4.5 baths, extensive living areas, media rooms, private pools, private Jacuzzis, private salons, massage areas, heated spas, personal gyms and, in some cases, private putting greens! Upon completion, the combined Palazzo, Venetian and Sands Expo and Convention Center will be the largest resort and hotel complex in the world, with 7,074 hotel rooms and suites.

The Palazzo is scheduled to open in December; so expect more photos. For more construction photos, check out Las Vegas Today and Tomorrow.

  1. Thank you, Susie and Dale, for this wonderful article and for the amazing photos. I know that many of us from the EAST are planning a trip to Vegas to see YOU and JB. Now, that’s the best. IE

  2. I second Irene! I’m in SoCal and I too plan to see JB when it opens in 2008. Would really love the opportunity to meet Susie and Dale and personally thank them for all they do for the JBB site. Hopefully you and I would have met in SF this Dec Irene. How fun is this?

  3. This photo display shows new levels of the Tech Half’s talents. I don’t believe we have seen photos zoom in a bit like this before.

The question is… Will 3,025 rooms be enough when JB fans, seasoned and new, show up to see this show?

I think I’ll pull a job, roll a 7-11 like the old days, find someone to ‘buy me out’, spot the pins in the fifth frame or call Bob Crewe’s father. I don’t care what the vig is on it; get me the fu*#in’ reservations! Go ahead, Vegas… get us in there, lay on the food, the booze, the full treatment.

It sounds and looks great, Susie and Dale. Thanks for whetting our appetite.

  4. I think the Venetian better start plans on another building as 3025 will just accommodate a fraction of Jersey Boys fans. Good call, Audrey. IE

  5. I just bought my ticket for opening night in Vegas and I can hardly wait! And although I don’t have any inside information on casting, I won’t be at all surprised if I should see at least one or two familiar faces on stage that night. If any of you should happen to be there on April 4, glance over to the vicinity of the middle of row C in the center orchestra section. I’ll be the freakishly tall girl dancing in the aisles at the end of the show! I have to say, a week of spas, shopping, cocktails, and Jersey Boys sounds like my idea of absolute HEAVEN!

  6. Ah, now we’re talking. I wonder if Tommy DeVito is going to be there opening night. I can’t imagine he won’t be – it’s his turf. Can’t wait to go and see another cast. They really are getting ubiquitous!!
