JLY Scheduled to Sing Natl Anthem at NY Nets Game 11/12
November 10th, 2007On his blog, John Lloyd Young reports that he will sing “The National Anthem” at the New Jersey Nets home game vs. the New Orleans Hornets, at the Meadowlands on Monday, November 12.
JLY also notes that fans have been asking if any canceled performances due to the stagehand’s strike will effect his final performance date at JERSEY BOYS. From what he understands, it will not: so it’s probably safe to expect that his final performance will still be November 21st.
Wish I could get to the game..I don’t think they broadcast the beginning of the game..Maybe some other time..John your going to sound soooooo good!!! Hope to see you soon..Jody

Jody: If you have access to NBA League Pass, many times they do show the singing of the National Anthem. Perhaps someone can record it and post it. I would love to hear him.

Some tickets to the game are as low as $10 plus fees. Where else can you hear John Lloyd sing for a few dollars? I think it’s time for me to check out a professional basketball game- although I may not stay past the National Anthem.

That’s the spirit, Audrey! Who knows? Maybe you’ll turn into a sports fanatic! Now if only JLY would sing the Natinal Anthem before a Virginia Tech football game…that’s my dream!
