October 9th, 2008

Rick Faugno and Joyce Chittick
Rick Faugno and Joyce Chittick at The Palazzo

Last weekend, we had the wonderful opportunity to interview Joyce Chittick and Rick Faugno for Jersey Boys Blog! It was marvelous to chat with the couple and the interview will be posted very soon!

We’re sorry to report, however, that Joyce will be playing her final performance as “Mary” and so many other roles in the Vegas production of Jersey Boys at 6:30PM on Tuesday, October 14. Joyce will be returning to New York to do some choreography work for the Broadway company of Grease, followed by working on the national tour of Grease.

We will miss the multi-talented Joyce Chittick as “Mary Delgado” and in all of her other roles at The Palazzo! We wish Joyce all the best as she heads back to NYC!

  2. Joyce: We’re going to miss you so much!!! You are not only a talented actress and singer but just a wonderful person who always has time for the fans at the stage door. We all grew to love you as you wowed us at The Curran last year and continued on to Vegas. Thanks so much for all the great performances as Mary Delgado. You are so very special. Best of luck to you in your career. We’ll be looking forward to seeing you in other productions.

  3. I am so sad to see Joyce leave the Jersey Boys family. Without a doubt, she is my favorite Mary and I will miss her sorely. To take a line from JB, “Look at me, I’m tearing up.”

I’ve seen Joyce many times at the Curran and at the Palazzo. She always greeted everyone with a warm smile. At Irene’s party in April, she was super friendly and a total sweetheart. I wish I could be there for her last show and say goodbye. I’m hoping my mom can be there to represent us both.

Joyce, I know you will have a long and successful career. Good luck with all your future endeavors. You will be so missed!!

    All the best,
Krystal Thomsen & my mom Martha

  4. Aw, Joyce! She is so much fun and so tough-as-nails as Mary. I was hoping to see her again when I go to Vegas next month. Whoever is the new Vegas Mary will have big shoes to fill.

Have a blast back at Grease, Joyce!

  6. Joyce,

It has been exciting watching you play a fantastic Mary Delgato next to Rick. You are both very special and it is momentarily sad to see you and Rick at opposite ends of the country but that will hopefully only be temporary as you take on new challenges with Grease.
    Love, Dad
