Kelly Kinsella Performs ‘Live Under Broadway!’ TONIGHT!

February 2nd, 2008

Come out to the Metropolitan Room to watch Kelly Kinsella -who The New York Times calls “a terrific and zany performer”–perform her highly-praised, Lily Tomlinesque, one woman tour de force about her life as a dresser on the Great White Way. Kelly will be performing this Saturday, TONIGHT at 7:30 PM and on February 24 at 7:00 PM! Call 212-206-0440 for reservations.

She has been dresser to the Jersey Boys and Girls since its opening in NYC, as well as to Bernadette Peters, Liza Minelli, Reba McEntire, Jeff Goldblum, and many other unusual and inspiring talents of the stage.

Below are some recent reviews of Kelly’s performances:

  • Slinky and smart, Kelly Kinsella, a “just one of the foulmouthed guys” comedian, rocked the New York International Fringe Festival this summer with her one-woman show about her life as a dresser on the Great White Way. High-octane monologues with closely observed details and laugh-out-loud audacity made her performance one to remember this year. -BACKSTAGE NY
  • KKLive is consistently funny and does an excellent job of showing both the humor and pain of real life.- nytheatre.com
  • Kelly thrums with the aggressive ruthless humor of many male comics but underneath is the touching neurotic charm of a still unmarried New York woman. – Backstage NY
  • [working with Kelly] might be like directing a keg of dynamite or a gaggle of unruly children who happen to live in one woman’s head.- EDGE New York City
  • I enjoyed myself so much, I secretly hoped it would never end.- Jersey Boys co-writer Rick Elice

  1. This is an ignorant question, but is Kelly Kinsella any relation to Jersey Boys producer Kevin Kinsella? Thanks, Charles
