Newsflash: Christian Hoff to Star in Fox Comedy “Hackett”

September 18th, 2007

Nellie Andreeva of The Hollywood Reporter reports that Tony winner Christian Hoff has come aboard Fox’s comedy pilot “Hackett.” This show, directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, centers on a bad-boy literary luminary (Donal Logue) who escapes his disgraced career teaching at Yale only to find himself among the ultra-PC ranks of teachers at an Ohio public high school. Hoff will play the school’s vice principal, a frustrated wannabe writer and Hackett’s nemesis.

Congratulations to Christian on his exciting new endeavor! Hey, I’d gladly stay after school if Christian Hoff were my vice principal–how about you?

  5. Christian, please let me add my congratulations to on your “Hackett” pilot. If it becomes a series and films in California, I know how thrilled you’d be to be closer to Eli and Erika. You’ve repeatedly told those of us who know you how much you love those kids, and seeing them with you shows how much they love you.

Whatever the future holds, you’ve enhanced all our lives, and we’ll all be able to look back, smile, and reflect upon those cherished memories for many years to come.

But keep in mind, fellow Bloggers, that all pilots don’t become series. So, indeed, Wanda, maybe Christian will stay…just a little bit longer!!
