Photo Preview: Jersey Boys Blog Returns to Broadway!

April 16th, 2012

A Sunday Kind of Love–Make that a Friday through Monday kind of love! Just returned from four glorious days on Broadway! This is just a preview! Over the next week or so, we’ll be posting a recap of the spectacular JB matinee performance, photo coverage, JBB EXCLUSIVE Interviews (with Russell Fischer, Peter Gregus, Jarrod Spector, and a joint interview with Quinn VanAntwerp & Dominic Scaglione, Jr.), our first short video interview, and more surprises!

We also had the fabulous opportunity to see Rick Elice’s fabulously funny, clever, and magical Peter and the Starcatcher!! Please don’t miss this marvelous production!

And, a lot of drama (no, not the Tech Half & I, that’s another story) with the brilliant production of Death of a Salesman!

Still, there was more! On Sunday evening at Feinstein’s, we attended the amazing debut performance of The Doo Wop Project, starring Dominic Nolfi, Dominic Scaglione, Jr., Jarrod Spector, John Edwards and Dwayne Cooper!

This weekend ended much too soon!

Stay turned for continuing coverage of JBB’s return to Broadway!

  1. Wonderful to see you and Dale, Susie, along with so many other friends. It’s been too long! Yeah, I think both “Peter and the Starcatcher” and the Doo Wop Project have marvelous futures ahead. And I’ve been wondering for decades about the backstories of Peter, Captain Hook, and Mrs. Darling; I would have liked to see more of Tinkerbelle, however!!

  2. Thanks for the plug, Susie. Hope all the fans will check out our new play at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre!

As for you, Howard – Tinkerbell was looking all over for you at the party, but after it got really late, she said she had to fly.

  3. Great slideshow, Susie and Dale – it really captures the excitement of the place. And Howard, don’t feel bad – at least you shared in their fun weekend. The closest I came to Tinkerbell was spring-cleaning my son’s closet and finding some old Tinkertoys. And congrats to Mr. E. on his new Smash!

**Great seeing you, Howard! You’re right about the futures of Starcatcher & the Doo Wop Project, but I sure hope you catch up w/Tinkerbell soon!

**Thanks, Stubbs! Wish you could have been there–but looking forward to your JB Chicago recap!
