Please Help Peter Gregus Raise Funds for BC/EFA!

May 27th, 2008

A message from Peter Gregus:

Hi all you Jersey Fans,
I was wondering if you could help me out. I am working on an event for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights Aids. It’s called Broadway Bares and it’s going to be held June 22 at the Roseland Ballroom. It’s a burlesque show that I am the associate director of and in conjunction with the event, we are doing an online fundraising drive. You can visit the website below to donate online. It will explain the event and other Broadway Cares annual events. Thanks in advance for your help.

Much love,
Peter Gregus

  1. Great cause, Peter, and happy to donate. Of course, any contributions are tax-deductible if one itemizes, as so many New Yorkers do because of the high state/city tax rates, and so many performers do because of their numerous available deductions, even if one doesn’t own a home.

As a CPA, I advise my tax clients to put all charitable donations on one credit card, preferably one that categorizes types of expenditures, and at the end of the year, they have convenient summaries and acceptable receipts, not only for my tax preparation, but in the off-chance they are ever audited.
