Synchronized Skating Team Performs With JB Medley

February 5th, 2008

BroadwayWorld.com reports that Chicago’s enthusiasm for the Tony Award-winning musical Jersey Boys extends beyond the LaSalle Bank Theatre and into the community at large as 2007 Synchronized Skating Team National Champions, the Starlights, compete with routine set to Jersey Boys medley. Members of the Jersey Boys cast will be in attendance on Saturday, February 16 at 9:45AM as the Starlights perform their synchronized skating program at Millennium Park’s McCormick Tribune Ice Rink.

The Starlights Novice team will compete in the World Synchronized Skating Championships in Sweden this March as one of three teams representing Team USA with the routine they will present to the public at Millennium Park on February 16. The team of 16 skaters, all under the age of 15, finished 5th out of 20 teams at the World competition last year, and has once again received a bid to compete in 2008 with their current Jersey Boys routine.
