THIS JUST IN: Jersey Boys to Begin National Tour in San Francisco This December

NEWSFLASH!!

This just in from Broadwayworld.com’s News Desk: Jersey Boys, the smash hit musical about the rise and fall of chart-topping legends Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, which has taken Broadway by storm, will launch a National Tour in San Francisco beginning in December, 2006. The musical, which opened to rave reviews on November 6, 2005, continues to set new weekly box office records at the August Wilson Theatre and has been among the top grossing shows on Broadway ever since.

Jersey Boys will be presented in San Francisco as part of the Shorenstein Hays Nederlander (SHN) theatre series. Carole Shorenstein Hays, owner and president of SHN stated,

“Jersey Boys is simply the greatest musical on Broadway this season. The music is infectious and like the rest of the audience, I was on my feet cheering. I just knew Jersey Boys had to open in San Francisco!”

  2. Who is being considered for the Frankie Valli role…Dominic Nolfi? He did a great job as understudy the night I saw the show for the first time.
