Three New Jersey Boys in Chicago!

April 11th, 2009

On his Theater Loop blog, Chicago Tribune’s Chris Jones reports that three-quarters of the Four Seasons are changing in the JERSEY BOYS Chicago production!

As reported on JB Blog earlier, the new Chicago Frankie is Dominic Scaglione, Jr., who comes to Chicago after playing the main man in both Las Vegas and Broadway. The new Bob Gaudio is Shonn Wiley and the new Tommy DeVito is Michael Cunio. The three actors are joining Michael Ingersoll, who has been playing Nick Massi first on the Jersey Boys national tour, and since the show began in Chicago.

These changes will all be in place by April 24, although some of the above are already being worked into the show, which is in an open run at the Bank of America Theatre, 18 W. Monroe Street.

  1. Shonn has been in the show since late February. I saw him early in his second week (and twice more since) and he’s done a fantastic job in the part right from the start. Dominic’s been in his role for about two weeks now and Michael as Tommy will be the last when Bryan McElroy departs on the 23rd of this month.

  5. I just saw the show for my birthday weekend and they were all amazing. Shonn Wiley is absolutely gorgeous. I couldn’t keep my eyes off of him for one bit. I’m going to see the show again so I can see Shonn sing Stay….He’s so dreamy.
