The official JERSEY BOYS Facebook page mentioned that on this day in 1964 Rag Doll debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 and made its way all the way to the #1 spot! Fun fact: In 2010, radio station WCBS-FM in New York City ranked the Four Seasons’ “Rag Doll” as the number-one song of all time, as voted on by its listeners!

So, for today’s Throwback Thursday, let’s keep saluting Rag Doll with a photo of my personal favorite Four Seasons album Rag Doll And 10 Other Hits! Rag Doll, released in 1964, was a new step in the Four Seasons albums. Previously, the quartet had filled LPs with covers of oldies after including their current hits. This album consisted entirely of songs written by musical genius Bob Gaudio. Along with the number one title track, two other Top Ten hits were on the album: Save It for Me, and Ronnie. The other tracks are equally awesome!
