Today In Four Seasons History

On September 15, 1962, the whole world exploded! Forty-five years ago today, “Sherry” by The Four Seasons hit Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 Pop Chart and remained in the top spot for five consecutive weeks! Written by Bob Gaudio, the song that started it all for The Four Seasons stayed on the chart for 14 weeks.

  1. This brings back so many memories. It’s fun to see the progression of fashion and music in the photos. Once again, hearing this makes me love and appreciate the orchestration of the songs as performed in JB all the more. Brilliant!

  2. Boy, did my mom get sick of me playing this song when it came out!! I think she hid my brother’s album for awhile to get some peace and quiet!! Thanks Four Seasons!!
