Today’s Jersey Boys Performances Canceled Due to Fire at Fox Theatre
May 15th, 2011News from KMOV: The Sunday performances of JERSEY BOYS at the Fabulous Fox Theatre have been canceled due to a three-alarm fire that broke out in the St. Louis landmark theatre this morning.
Officials say it began just before 5 a.m. Thermal imaging cameras allowed firefighters to see that the flames originated in a mechanical room above the lobby.
The fire department was greeted by heavy smoke when they arrived, but the theatre appears to have only suffered damage in the lobby.
Tickets can be exchanged starting Monday.
